All in all, it was a good event, a bit crowded. But besides that, I loved every part of it. I wrote an article about the event that you can read below: http://tinyurl.com/7bnscde

We had a good time, however, it was too crowded which did not allow you to network with others.

Should of had more chairs more space for people to sit.

Area was too tight for the amount of people. Still a good presentation from what I could see.

It was a great presentation. But the party was too crowded... I felt like a sardine in a can.

Was a great space but way to small to accomodate so many people. It was difficult to move around and only half the people in the space could actually see the presentation. It was very frusterating when you are trying to listen to a speaker and people are talking away( though this was probably bc they could not see or here the speaker from where they were standing so what else could they do I guess).

It was great to see such an amazing turnout for our first Meetup of the new year! We welcomed new guests, and caught up with old friends. Chris Sharples gave a really engaging presentation, and the Bisazza showroom was such a beautiful space for the event. Thanks everyone for coming out despite the rain!

Another great MeetUp by Designer Pages. The presentation by ShoP was very interesting and of course, it was lovely to see the Architecture for Humanity team. This is a divine opportunity to mingle with the best of the NYC A+D crowd.

This was my first meetup and it was up to my expectations. Great crowd, very interesting presentation from Chris Sharples. I had the chance to talk to Chris about his work and that was the highlight of my night (although it was quite noisy and made it hard to converse with Chris ). I will definitely come back whenever I can. Congratulations to the organizers whom I did not have the opportunity to thank.

The showroom is interesting in its lines and perspectives. When seated near the vanities one could view the circular ceiling and the balcony. There are always views from around the corner.

Duravit's showroom is a rather nice showroom. That said, I found it didn't work well as a venue for the Meetup event.

Good speakers/interesting projects but super hard to hear because too many people where chatting - disrespectful to the speakers. :(

I thought the gathering was a good one and was pleased to see again some friends and acquaintances once more having a fun time.

It was a little too crowded at one point. Otherwise it was very nice.

I found the speakers and the projects very educational and inspiring and met some great people but I found the people who were not seated in the back very distracting and disrespectful to the speakers and those who were interested in their presentation. It was difficult to focus on the content of the information being shared. Also the lights should have been dimmed and the projection larger to give the images their full due. Possibly if the lights were dimmed then it would have helped focus the people in the back on the purpose of the event. In general I felt there were two events going on simultaneously which was frustration as an attendee but must have been even more difficult for the presenters.
