This was in my opinion one of the best ones yet. Also to people who are having difficulty meeting others try not to be so shy if you see a group of people you don't know say "Hi" you'll be surprised how friendly they may turn out to be. The reason you attend these events is to network and meet people not to stand in a corner and hope that the party comes to you.

To all the new people to the group, making friends is the easiest thing to do with such an array of professionals! Walking up to someone and saying "Hi" always works for me!

An enormous thank you to everyone who joined us last night at Heller - this was by far our biggest event and we owe it first and foremost to our fabulous meetup members! Stay tuned for event photos and videos of our speakers, we're working on getting these to the group right away!

It was good to see the actual designer in person, the things that he talked about made a lot of sense " Design should be practical, fuctional, affordable and aesthetically pleasing"

Loved the meeting. I know nothing about design except that it interests me. I loved hearing Massimo Vignelli speak and also answer questions. He made so much sense. I plan to attend more IDNY meetings because I enjoy the one I attended and because I enjoyed learning about design.

Excellent speakers and crowd, as always.

It was a real pleasure to be at the Heller showroom. This was my first attendance for the IDNY Meetup, and consider myself very fortunate to have the honor of listening to a great speach delivered by Massimo Vignelli. Certainly, the evening was inspiring. I will deffinetly join the following gathering, in February. A big THANK YOU to all the organizers!

It was an amazing experience to be in such an intimate setting with one of the greatest designers of our time. I can't wait to attend the next one!

O what a night! great atmosphere, friendly people and the great Massimo Vignelli! Who could ask for anything more!

An excellent event, exactly what these things are supposed to be like. A chance for people in the field to be exposed to the inner workings behind some of the greatness of what it is they do. A glimpse into history and historical figure, balanced by a passionate new up and comer, plus an official product pre-launch. A reminder why we wanted to be designers in the first place, the takeaways were numerous.

The Meetup was superb - the presentations were significant without feeling drawn out, the scope was broad but clear, and the group of members were very polite, professional, and friendly! A few technical glitches that were taken in stride made it all the more intimate and the meetup crew did a terrific job. Only in NYC can you get so much in one evening on such a comfortable but professional scale. Thanks!

Great meetup, as usual - Heller provided an ideal event space, and the speakers/presenters were informative and friendly. The IDNY group is great - thanks for organizing another fantastic design event.

Great environment, great crowd, interesting speakers - Mr. Vignelli was great presenting.

Everyone pretty much stayed in their own little groups and talked to people the seemed to know!!! Not much opprtunity to interact with others as they didn't look outside their group. I think more thN just a passing comment to ask people to introduce themselves to those they don't know is needed. (as was done at this event). I joined to meet other design professionals, not to watch people talk to their friends.

It was fascinating to see a great master break down complicated concepts into a down to earth simple mantra of providing high quality and useful products that people can afford and use.
